The Reverend Andre Jefferson Jr. is married to Tiffany Jefferson and serves as the proud Pastor of New Mount Olive AME Church in Chesapeake, VA. He is the son of Rev. Andre and Tracey Jefferson, Sr. and has lived a life that is centered around music and Jesus. He was taught by both of his parents how to play the clarinet and saxophone and uses both of those instruments for the glory and edification of the Kingdom. This God given gift has led him to receive numerous awards and accomplishments with the All District Band and Virginia State Band.

These accomplishments carried well over into his undergraduate education at Old Dominion University, where he majored in Music Education and completed the program in 2016. It was at Old Dominion University in 2014 where he accepted his call to preach the gospel. He preached his initial sermon at Bethel A.M.E. Church under the pastoral leadership of his father, Rev. Andre Jefferson, Sr. At Bethel A.M.E. Church, he served as the Praise and Worship Leader, Mentor, YPD Member, Youth and Young Adult Choir Member, Jr. Usher, Acolyte Guild, and as a Vacation Bible School Teacher.

His work in the church affirmed his calling and his need to continue his education; and in 2019 he graduated from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School Of Theology at Virginia Union University where he met the love of his life Tiffany Jefferson. In that same year, he was appointed to serve Macedonia A.M.E. Church by the servant leadership of Bishop James Levert Davis. Prior to this, he served as Supply Pastor for Macedonia A.M.E. Church for one year. He has also served as the pastor of New Allen Memorial AME Church located in Franktown, Va.

He is guided by his favorite scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them — yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
